You might be blocked or stuck about something in your life. You don’t know what the essence of the problem really is. You don’t know the truth. I can see the block inside of you and locate the truth. Its like a click, you are able to let it go and that empowers you to rise up to the next level of consciousness or move through into the next phase of your life. I do not predict the future, I unravel the problems in the present.

What is Procrastination? Is it laziness or is it really a bit of worry that we’re not going to get it right, or do it the right way. I know alot of people and I can’t think of one that I would call lazy and that includes myself. However I know that when I am putting something off its because I’m worried about getting it right. I work very hard at acting on my first thought but sometimes…

Next time you see someone in your life procrastinating think about what they did that you appreciated and how it helped you. Let them know what a great job they are doing and how valuable their work is and leave the part about what they are not doing out. Your words of love, truth and praise may just give them the courage/insentive to move forward.

And do it for yourself as well, if you find yourself putting something off and don’t know why think of all the good things that you have accomplished and how strong you are.

When you wake up at 3:00am or 4:00am, or whenever you wake up in the middle of the night and start thinking or worrying about your world;

Close your eyes, Put your Hand on your Heart and say over and over in your head, I have absolutely Everything that I need inside of me,I have absolutely Everything that I need inside of me, I have absolutely Everything that I need inside of me.

Say it over and over again, touching our heart reconnects us to ourselves, and the etrnal flow of energy or Love that makes up the Universe. It grounds us and helps to block out the chatter/worry/ego going on in our mind.

I chose this piece today because Maggie and Koko are best friends and cousins and they don’t give a hoot that they look  or act  differently, they don’t need to be the same they are who they are and they love life.

By the way Koko is the one with the swanky hat and Maggie is sporting a lovely necklace designed for her needs and who she is.

I like this, it reminds me of a book I read many years ago; ‘If You Meet Budha on the Road Kill him’. It is good to listen to those you love and respect and trust. One must also go out into the world and continue to learn in order to move forward, however each and every question that you ask and choice that you make must come from within. That is how you move forward and that is how you become the best possible person you can be.

And when you do find someone that helps you find that place inside of you, that helps you cut through the chatter of everyday life. You have found someone to help guide you along your way.

Always follow your inner knowing, that piece of God inside of you.

A bad habit is something that we do in order not to feel. And we need to learn to feel our way from our inner knowing, that sacred place inside of us that is all knowing. So here is the begining of how to learn to feel your way through something. We all have triggers, but as we learn how to identify our triggers, we can learn how to dismantle them.

Many years later I was at an ‘I Can Do It Conference’ in Toronto and I heard Colette Baron-Reid speak, she talked about ‘The Wise Woman within’. I think that that is actually where the term came from ‘The Wise Woman Within’ I don’t think that I had named her/me until then. What I understand now is that ’The Wise Woman/Man Within’ is actually our Heart Energy, our God within, who we are are. And as we become stronger, the light from within shines outward and our mind body and spirit become united.

As an artist when I am painting a portrait of someone I go out and phototgraph them. This is one of my favorite photographs. The gentleman on the left is Arthur, also known as King Arthur, on the right Rutherford. Aurthur and Rutherford are best freinds although honestly King Arthur sees himself more as a grandfather figure or mentor to Rutherford. Rutherford’s dad Norman comissioned me to do a portrait of Arthur for his mom Diana.

For days that seem like they are going backwards or I have something difficult to do, I keep images in my head that make me happy, and I refer back to them throughout my day, they make me smile and as soon as I smile I know that everything is good.

I’ve also got the sky in there, you know when you bend your head way back and look up and it’s Super Blue. There’s an image of Leo my dog in there and Bindi our cat laying in wait for Leo as he turns the corner to jump on his head and then a game ensues.

There’s alot of happy things going on in my head that I reach for when I am stressed or just need a break. I just wanted to share one of my favorite photos with you, you are welcome to keep it in your head if you like.

I have seen this movie four times. And every time I see it it empowers me. It is a brilliant movie, it is all about believing in yourself and following your destiny, who you came here to be and what you have to give to the world.

In this movie their are a number of defining moments for all of the characters. However we follow our main heroine Christina Aguilera as she lives her destiny, moving from one moment to the next taking the chances she knows in her heart to be true.

She has alot of choices to make and hard things happen to her however she believes in herself and  she does what she knows she has to do one step at a time always with her vision in mind.

 When you are following your destiny, your inner knowing that God within, you may not know what tomorrow will look like however you do know what you have to do today, right now. You make every single choice that you need to make from within.

Every single choice that we make from within leads us in the right direction, it may not be obvious at the moment but eventually you will understand why you read that book or made that phone call when you did or took a different way to work.

Eventually your truth is revealed to you as you learn to trust that God, that bright beautiful being inside of you, that is you.

The other thing that I Really Love about this movie is that our heroine reaches out to those around her and she grows to love and trust them. We are all One we are all in this together. She does not make her choices based on what they tell her to do, she still follows her inner guidance however she is clearly functioning in a world of beautiful souls/people trying to do the best that they can and really they need one another to create their world, the world of Burlesque. www.frontrowcentre.com

After I have seen this movie I come home and I dance. I turn up the music, close my eyes, let the music flow through me and I dance. Dancing opens up our hearts and heals the hurts in our soul. And it makes the choice that we need to make from within clearer.

Now feel that. Everytime you feel scared or shocked, joyful, shattered, stunned, unsure, or like you just don’t know what to do, ‘Put Your Hand on Your Heart’ it connects you with your centre and brings you back to yourself. We have absolutely everything that we need inside of us.
